Smoke Alarms and Carbon Monoxide detectors
As a result of the new legislation that came in on October 1st, 2015, we are able to assess, supply and fit where necessary suitable detectors. As part of our inventory service, we are including a section specifically for this area, noting that they have been tested.
There is a legal duty for landlords to assess and control the risk of exposure to legionella bacteria for their tenants. We are able to offer legionella testing to include a water sample, giving peace of mind for residential and commercial properties.

The current law on PAT Testing requires that all employers must maintain portable appliances and ensure they are safe. This should be done through testing of the appliances on a regular basis.
PAT Testing legislation was brought in to ensure that all employers conform to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Electricity at Work Regulations of 1989, Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations of 1998 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations of 1999.
A portable appliance is anything that is plugged in from a computer to a kettle at work to a lamp or television in the home.
There is no legislation on how frequently appliances should be tested, however, it is cited in all safety acts "regularly tested to ensure safety is maintained".
This service is available for domestic and commercial premises.
